The backend the apps run on, self-hosted
The apps used to live in three separate hosted projects. Now one self-hosted stack serves them all: one database with a schema per app, one sign-in for every app, and the API published through a Cloudflare Tunnel, so no inbound ports are open.
Accounts are by invitation. Each account carries the apps it may use, and every request is checked against them.
Backups run every night, encrypted and off-site, and a monthly drill restores the latest one into a scratch database and checks every table.
